LEDs have revolutionized the illumination industry. In the meantime, they have reached almost every area and replace the well-tried illuminants or at least compete heavily with them. Moving heads have also got into the focus of diodes. The FUTURELIGHT EYE-36 MK2 sets an appropriate example. This head moving washlight is equipped with 36 LEDs (1 watt; 12 x red, 12 x blue, 12 x green), weighs less than its conventional competitors and thus is easy to transport. Beside the well-known and undeniable advantages of LEDs, such as the low power consumption and the low maintenance, the powerful EYE-36 offers a specialty. Because the radiation angle, normally 25°, can be changed via an optional, exchangeable lense module from 38° to 15°. Not only due to the different angles, the EYE-36 is a competitor which should be taken seriously.
